UN Global Compact Lebanon

DiaLeb is an active member at the UN Global Compact Network Lebanon (GCNL) since 2015, participating in workshops, conferences and forums organized with the purpose to spread the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

As such we ensure that the needs and rights of patients living with diabetes are met as well as focusing on prevention mechanisms required to stop the spread of type II diabetes. 

World Patients Alliance

DiaLeb joined World Patient Alliance as a member on December 2020. As member we look forward to empower and raise the patients’ voice for the provision and access to safe, quality and affordable healthcare.

Catalyst 2030

In its continuous efforts to support the sustainable development goals, DiaLeb joined Catalyst 2030 in February of 2021.

NASH Council

On December 15, 2022 DiaLeb joined Global Liver Institute's NASH Council as a member. As the diabetes voice in the community, we look forward to working with stakeholders to address the rising challenges of liver diseases (one of the less spoken about diabetes complications) such as non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis.

International Diabetes Federation (IDF)

The National Diabetes Organization (DiaLeb) was accepted as a Member of the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) at the IDF Board Meeting, December 3-4, 2016.

Since then, DiaLeb has been an active member, partnering with organizations from across the world, exchanging expertise, participating in webinars, submitting poster presentations, attending the global congresses and having a booth at the global village and much more!

In 2018, DiaLeb became an IDF “ Accredited Center of Education ” (ACE) and has been providing educational sessions to diabetes healthcare professionals and patients ever since. Our team of specialized experts work collaboratively with individuals to structure and implement effective diabetes training for healthcare professionals and create resources for patients.

DiaLeb has members participating in the IDF's Young leader in diabetes (YLD) program as well as the Blue Circle Voices (BCV) program.
